I came to this island because of the flood.
I don’t want to leave Myanmar now.
I want to stay and see my country.
The country has been in chaos since a military coup in 2011.
The Rohingya people have been driven out of their homes and villages.
Myanmar has no official borders, and the government says it is trying to keep the country stable.
It denies the Rohingya are Muslim and denies any wrongdoing.
The United Nations says about 200,000 Rohingya have fled the country.
I’m not allowed to go back.
So I’ll have to stay here until I can get my passport back.
I think it’s just a matter of time until we have an official solution.
